Tour Tool Kit

Before taking your Model A on the road you should consider including a tool kit and use the Touring Item Check List below as a guide. This is just a suggested list of items - not every car, driver or tour would require every item on this list, but most cars should have most of this stuff! The tool kit pictured on the left was available during the late 20's & early 30's.
General
Flashlight and maps and/or GPS
Sunglasses, driving gloves, and hat of choice
Cell phone and/or CB Radio
Insurance card and vehicle registration
Copy of owner's manual
Club & MAFCA roster, spare change, and credit card
Pen, pencil, and note pad
First Aid Kit with band aids, alohol wipes, Q-tips, and personal medications
Umbrella, car blanket, and folding stool or chair
Extra quart of oil and bottle of water for both car and driver
Check oil, water, and air in all the right places and amounts
Fire extinguisher

Feeler gauge, small file, and/or sand paper
Lubrication jelly, small WD-40, and 3-in-1 oil can
Tire pressure gauge
Test light with wire, also extra wires with alligator clips
Extra fuses, tail & head light bulbs, and spark plugs
Extra gas cap and fan belt
Knife, hack saw, and measuring tape
Tie-down rope or bungee cords
Straight and Philips screw drivers, 2 sizes
Channel lock and needle nose pliers
Adjustable crescent wrench
Open end or combination wrenches 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 7/8
Socket set - 1/4" and 3/8" drive with extension
Wire cutter or side cutter
Spare coil and condenser
Distributor cap, rotor, and points
Carburetor repair kit
Rags, window cleaner, soap, bucket, and detailer spray bottle
